Best grilled roast beef poboy but on this visit the onion rings and fried were undercooked. That was the exception in my experience though.

Social distancing. Fresh food. Excellent onion rings. Breakfast to dinner including daily lunch specials!

This was my first time here, and my last!!!!!!The food was really greasy, the fries overcooked, the onion rings undercooked... the fish was horrible and the shrimp chewy. The images that are shown on their site, looks nothing like what you get. Worse 40$ I ever spent.

Roast beef sandwich had way too much gravey ard bread was so drenched with the gravey you couldn't even pick it up to eat it. It was so soft amd soggy. Had to eat roast beef with a fork as the bread just disintegrated in your fingerd trying to pick it upRoast it self was good and tasty. But someone needs to learn how to make an eatable product.Also. Seafood Kickers were still cold in the middle after being them out after deep frying themOverall not a good experience.

We visit Schnell’s regularly for breakfast or lunch. It it is always a good experience. Service is consistently good especially if Sarah is your server!

Looks way better than the last time I was there. And this time a drunk stranger didn't throw up on me while I was eating. It was a good visit.

I've been coming to Schnell's for 20 years. When we originally started going here, it was always around 1-3 in the morning, but I don't think they've been open for those hours since Katrina. Even after all these years, the food is still the same. Love this place.

I haven't been here in a few of years. About the only change I could detect since then is the staff. The decor, layout, table set ups, chairs, basically has not changed. Whether you consider this good or bad is not for me to judge. Simple dining, nothing fancy. Reasonable prices. Good food, and friendly staff. What more do you need? The old saying "if it's a broke, why change it" definitely applies for this establishment.

Had open face roast beef, not good! I did take it home and doctored it up. The server was fabulous,, she made me fresh coffee. And was very courteous. I will go back and try something different, though,I'll have to see what their best dish is.

The fish and shrimp dinner was AMAZING. It was my first time dining there. I also used to work with the waitress who served me as well. Was good to see a familiar face. The live band was cool too. Will definitely return.

I had hamburger steak but I didn't like it. Our waitress Linda was very nice and friendly.

Thursdays they have a band doing oldies. You need to call and make reservations. The fried chicken is awesome.

They food was very bland and to charge 3.00 for onions and mushrooms for your hamburger steak is just a ripp off. Every place I ever ate a hamburger steak the onions and mushrooms came with it. I was very very disappointed and will never eat there again

The seafood player was huge, and delicious... My ribeye was so tender, I used my butter knife to cut it... It was delicious...

Great home cooked meal

Empty and it still took 10 mins for a waitress to come to us and 5 before we were greeted, she literally just looked at us. Then took a long time to get us drinks and our order, the gravy had cut up cheap sausage patties in it and the bacon was so greasy I couldnt finish it.

Visited on a Thursday night with friends for some good food and a enjoyable evening...great band! Love those oldies.

The food isn't they same..my husband hamburger steak looked like a meatloaf..no more for me

Ordered 2 bowls of gumbo with grill cheese that cost us $30 only to get home and the gumbo was sour. Too far to go back and too tired from working all day. That's by far the worst gumbo I've ever tasted. The best thing about my order was the packs of crackers! 😠

Totally disgusting. I have been here several times. Each time I go it’s worse. I kept going because it is kind of a local tradition. This last time was the final straw. Aside from the fact that my food was greasy and not made the way I ordered it, my daughter’s food a chilli French fry poboy had obvious mold on it. This means they kitchen staff paid no attention to serving old disgusting food and the waitress didn’t bother checking. They insisted we pay for it anyway. They are going to kill someone. The pictures speak for themselves.
